Data Management Planning Tool version 2 released
A new version of the free Data Management Planning Tool (DMPTool2) has been released by the California Digital Library (CDL) and its partners. DMPTool2 guides researchers through the process of creating data management plans to fulfill the requirements of funding agencies such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
The new version of the tool allows researchers to more easily:
- collaborate and share with colleagues
- get help and suggestions relating to the particular requirements of each funder
- see additional data management resources that are specific to their institution.
For questions about the DMPTool2 or about other data management tools and services available to UC Berkeley researchers, please see our page on Scientific Data Services or contact data-consult@lists.berkeley.edu.
