New Library Service: Online Paging to Support Your Interdisciplinary Research Needs
You can now request books and other library materials from 24 campus libraries be delivered to any of those libraries.
Just use the Berkeley OskiCat catalog to find the circulating item you’d like, click on the yellow “Request” button near the top of the screen and enter your CalNet ID and password. Finally, select your favorite library to have the item delivered to. It will arrive within three business days; in most cases sooner.
Imagine requesting books from Biological Sciences, Main, Moffitt, and Anthropology from the comfort of your home and having them all sent to the Environmental Design Library where you can pick them up on your way to class the next morning.
Online paging – another way the Library’s helping you access the materials you need in a timely and efficient manner.

Welcome Back!
Welcome/Welcome Back to Berkeley!
Over the summer the Library came up with new ways to save you time and improve your research and teaching:
- Laptops and ipads to go! Borrow them from Moffitt Library (students only)
- Streamlined loan periods librarywide:
- Graduate students: 3 months (renewable up to three years total)
- Undergraduates: 1 month (renewable up to one year total)
- Faculty: 6 months (renewable up to four years total)
- Need to know about Copyright? There’s a site for that.
- A newly redesigned Library web site: send us your comments!
And, as always, all the basics that grad students, faculty, and undergrads need to know including off campus access to databases, library privileges, renewing online, fee based document delivery service, Interlibrary Loan, research support, support for your teaching, and scholarly communication.
