4. Finding Health Education Literature
5. Patient/Consumer Health Education Materials

Class: Health Promotion and Health Education Resources
When: Wednesday, March 14, 10 – 11 am
Where: CDPH Richmond Campus, Building C, Room 140

Class Objectives:
To introduce CDPH staff to quality health promotion and health
education tools and resources that are freely available online.
Use of these resources will assist with efficiently developing effective,
evidence-based health promotion programs.

Audience:
This class is intended for CDPH staff who are new
to health promotion/health education or those who
would like an introduction to quality resources that are
freely available online.

If you wish to attend, please RSVP by

Supervisors: Please encourage your staff to attend

The Library has subscribed to The Vogue Archive (U.S. edition), a digital reproduction of the entire run of Vogue magazine from 1892 to date with high-resolution color page images. Editorial content, covers, advertisements, image captions are all included, including contributor names that appear in image credits. An advanced search allows you to browse by year(s).  This amazing archive preserves the work of the world’s greatest fashion designers, stylists and photographers, and is a unique record of American and international fashion, culture and society from the dawn of the modern era to the present day.


Access National Library of Medicine TOXNET with any mobile device

Now you can access the National Library of Medicine (NLM) TOXNET with any mobile device. Mobile TOXNET is an easy to use, mobile-optimized Web interface to the TOXNET databases, covering toxicology, hazardous chemicals, environmental health and related areas. Cal Energy Corps Summer 2012 Internships

In its second year, this program arranges summer internships for UC Berkeley undergraduates that provide exciting opportunities to pursue challenging, hands-on projects in energy and climate research around the world.

University, industry, government and non-profit internships are available in Brazil, Germany, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Nicaragua, People’s Republic of China and Taiwan.

The internships are paid, and include transportation and housing costs.  The application deadline is Sunday, March 18, 2012.  Complete information is available at Cal Energy Corps.
