One of my colleagues is offering workshops on the new version of the bibliographic management system, RefWorks. The UC Berkeley Library pays for the RefWorks subscription, which is available to all faculty, staff, and students at UCB. Since RefWorks is a cloud-based tool, you can access the resource and your library of citations from any computer. It integrates well with many of the Library’s paid resources.
The workshops are scheduled for:
9/28, 3-4pm, Valley Life Sciences Building, Bioscience Library Training Room
9/29, 2-3pm, D-Lab, 350 Barrows Hall Details: http://dlab.berkeley.edu/training/refworks-beginners
These workshops will cover the basics of creating new citations, importing citations from various databases, inserting references and creating bibliographies in Google Docs (also works with Microsoft Word, but these sessions will focus on Google Docs).
Please create a RefWorks account prior to class.
