Library staff were hard at work this summer configuring a new tool that allows you to search across our book and article collections from a single search box on the Library homepage.
Start your search is like Google Scholar, though it has much better coverage of items available from the Library (both online and in print). It includes full text PDFs and advanced filtering options directly in the search results.
Start your search combines many different article databases and catalogs (including OskiCat) into a single search experience and is powered by EBSCO Discovery Services.
It doesn’t include everything that’s available via Library subscriptions though. To ensure you find the best possible articles on your research topic you should continue to search discipline-specific databases directly, or make an appointment with your subject librarian as needed.
Note that full results from the Start your search tool are only available to on-campus users or those using the Library proxy or campus VPN.
