The UCB Student Learning Center is currently offering a five-part research workshop series, Own the Researcher in You, for undergraduate students who wish to become better writers and researchers. Two upcoming workshops will be on March 18th and April 1st.
Scholar, Activated: Turning Your Curiosities into Tangible Research Questions (March 18)
This workshop offer strategies for bringing your research project into sharper focus. Discuss qualities of a feasible research project and explore elements of an intellectually significant research question. Learn how to choose your subject, identify your audience, and focus your research effort. (Register)
From the Archives and Back: Making the Meaning of Your Source (April 1)
This workshop provides you with concrete strategies for analyzing and making meaning of primary and secondary sources. Gain the skills to discern the validity and reliability of scientific evidence and learn how to use evidence to convince the reader of your claim. (Register)
Both workshops will be held at 110 Chavez from 5-6:30pm.
