MIT Press ebooks in computer science and engineering via IEEE Xplore

The MIT Press eBooks Library: The Computing & Engineering Collection is now available via IEEE Xplore. The collection includes more than 450 titles from 1943 to the present in the fields of computer science and engineering technologies, including artificial intelligence, information theory, computer programming, information technology, and electrical engineering.

Links to individual ebooks will eventually appear in OskiCat and Melvyl.


OA event – June 4

The VIsion Science Program presents, “What’s all the fuss about about Open Access?” Tuesday, June 4 from 12 noon to 1 o’clock in 489 Minor Hall.  Peter Binfield, publisher of PeerJ and formerly of PLOS ONE will discuss the open access movement and how it has led to the birth of innovative journals like PLOS ONE, PeerJ and eLife.
