Royal Society Publishing is the publishing arm of the Royal Society, the oldest scientific academy in continuous existance. It “publishes nine journals covering the broad spectrum of the life sciences, physical sciences and cross-disciplinary sciences.” The Royal Society makes its journal archives freely available for any articles more than 70 years old, some back as far as 1665. View works by Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Benjamin Franklin, and many more. In 2011, Royal Society Publishing launched Open Biology, a new open access journal covering biology at the molecular and cellular level.
