Franck André Jamme, who is one of France’s leading contemporary poets and the author of more than a dozen books, will read from his latest publication Tantra Song which combines rare abstract paintings from Rajasthan with prose poetry and contemplative essays at the Berkeley Art Museum on Friday, November 2 at 5:30. A specialist in art brut or outsider art, Jamme was described by Henri Michaux as “a writer of rare quality.” He has collaborated with a number of artists including Phillippe Favier, Suzan Frecon, Acharya Vyakul, and Hans Schimansky.
