ProQuest’s Early European Books (EEB) has recently been redesigned to include a more user-friendly and speedier interface. The subject matter in these collections spans the Early Modern Period, with scholarly editions and translations covering science, literature, history, theology, customs, geography, and more. Together they provide a source of content for study and research across the cultural landscape of early modern Europe.
In the new interface, you can narrow your search results by publication date, publisher, place of publication, author, subject, language, and source library. Alternatively, you can browse all collections by date, author, place of publication, or language. Additionally, EEB offers a scatterplot Data Map (linked on the homepage after scrolling down) that can be filtered by year, language, and subject matter.
