The ASUC and the Graduate Assembly have partnered to provide free access to the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal websites

You may have heard that the ASUC and the Graduate Assembly have partnered to provide free access to the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal websites.  This is true, but there are some restrictions to be aware of:
  • WSJ is available to all UCB students, faculty and staff.
  • NYT is only available to UCB undergraduate and graduate students.  Faculty and staff are not included in this subscription.
  • NYT in Education is available to anyone with a Berkeley email address. This product includes images, videos, charts, etc produced by the NYT that can be used in teaching and learning.
Information, including how to set up access, has been added to the A-Z Database Finder:
Anyone encountering issues or problems with accessing these resources should be referred to as the email addresses and/or phone numbers in the A-Z database entry.  We will not be canceling our database subscriptions to these newspapers.
For more information, please see the ASUC statement on these new resources.
