The Library Welcomes Jeremy Ott

Jeremy Ott has been appointed as the new Classics and Germanic Studies Librarian. His most recent position was Collection Development Librarian at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. Prior experience includes some less traditional roles as archaeological trench supervisor, research assistant, numismatic conservation volunteer, and digital cataloger.

Jeremy holds a BA in Classical Civilization and Psychology from Wabash College, and is a PhD candidate at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts, defending his dissertation on “Mortuary Practices in Late Antique Corinth” this fall.

Jeremy joined us on Sept. 1, 2015 in the Arts & Humanities Division under the leadership of Holly Hatheway.
