Why Walls Won’t Work: Repairing the US-Mexico Divide provides a sweeping account of life along the United States-Mexico border zone, tracing the border’s history of cultural interaction since the earliest Meso-american times to the present day.
Michael Dear, the author, and winner of the 2013 Best Book Award for Geography in the Public Interest from the American Association of Geographers, will discuss the book.
