California Breast Cancer Research Program

The CBCRP is responsible for administering funding for breast cancer research in the State of California. The Breast Cancer and Chemicals Policy Project, one of its projects, is a collaboration between the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health and the Natural Resources Defense Council. The project’s expert panel is charged with recommending the chemical screening criteria relevant to breast cancer and identifying the communication strategies that will help businesses, consumers and policy makers reduce chemical hazards.
