24 hour study hall at Moffitt and Doe libraries is back!

Thanks to a generous gift from two Cal parents, the popular 24 hour Study Hall that has become traditional in the Gardner (Doe) Stacks and Moffitt Library during final exams will return this academic year. Budget cuts had made it necessary to discontinue the 24 hour Study Hall, but this wonderful donation from Richard and Lisa Steiny will allow the Library to provide this service once again. Here is an article from the Daily Cal about this (with a quote from a Public Health student!)

Fall finals covers Thursday, December 10 at 8 am through Saturday, December 19 at 5 pm. During this period, the Gardner (Main) Stacks and Moffitt Library will be open 24 hours for students to study; the Moffitt Microcomputer Lab and FSM Cafe will also be open during those hours.

Current information on hours of operation (including Reference Desk hours) for all the UCB libraries is available here.
