Nano Song: Cal students win video contest

The Nano Song – a collaborative effort by a group of UC Berkeley students and researchers including Patrick Bennett, David Carlton, Molly Felz, Nola Klemfuss, Glory Liu, Ryan Miyakawa, Stacey Wallace, and Angelica Zen – was the recent winner of the "What is Nano?" Video Contest sponsored by the American Chemical Society (ACS).

The contest sought creative videos that conveyed the scientific and cultural significance of nanoscience to a broad audience, and the Cal team’s video delivered. The video, featuring a puppet-oriented educational song, won both the Critics’ Choice and People’s Choice awards.

Congratulations to the award-winning team!
