The Public Health Library is offering 4 drop-in classes during Spring 2008. All classes are in 450C Moffitt Library, and all are from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.
- PubMed: March 12 For those who are new to PubMed, or who already use PubMed and want to search more effectively.
- EndNote X1: March 19 Use EndNote to store citations you find during research. It integrates with Microsoft Word to automatically format citations in your document. We will learn how to create an EndNote library, how to add citations, how to use EndNote with Word, and more.
- RefWorks: April 9 RefWorks is a web-based program similar to EndNote, but because it is web-based, it is available from any computer with Internet access. We will learn how to add citations to your RefWorks database, how to use RefWorks with Word, and more.
- E-Books on Public Health Topics: April 16 Thousands of online books are available for your use, including many core reference titles. We will learn about e-book collections in public health and medicine.
