Call for Participants: Usability Study

In an effort to learn more about how students and faculty use the library website to conduct research, The UC Berkeley Library is looking for people to try out some website features and provide feedback during an hour long session.

Participants will receive a $25 gift card to the Free Speech Movement Cafe on campus.

UC Berkeley staff are not eligible to participate.  Work-study and student workers are welcome.

What will I be doing in a usability study?

We will ask you to do several short tasks on the website and to think aloud as you complete them. You will also be asked some questions about your experiences.

How long is a session?

One hour.

When and where?

The Library will hold the first study in June and July. Other studies will occur during the fall and winter.

Participants need to come in person to our office in the Doe Library on the UC Berkeley campus.

Interested in participating?

Please tell us about yourself and your availability.

If you qualify for the study, you’ll receive an email with further details.

Thank you for interest.
