Document family history and conduct interviews for your dissertation, exhibit, or a variety of other purposes by learning the nuts and bolts of conducting oral history interviews. The Oral History Center of the Bancroft Library is holding a two-day workshop featuring project planning strategies, interviewing techniques, transcribing, selecting recording equipment, and techniques for preserving recordings.

There will be plenty of hands-on practice exercises.

This workshop is a companion initiative to the more in-depth Advanced Oral History Summer Institute.
