Web of Science has introduced a new feature that allows users to visualize the forward and backward citations of an article. According to the press release, “The citation mapping tool tracks an article’s cited and citing references through two generations, allowing researchers to visually discover an article’s wider relationships.”
This feature joins other Web of Science tools such as Citation Alerts, Citation Reports, and Related Records based on shared references.
