The second annual Faculty Spotlight exhibit was installed in Moffitt Library this week, and will remain on display through spring 2007.
The exhibit aims to stimulate undergraduates' interest in new and exciting research, motivate students to broaden their horizons by taking a course outside their major, and encourage reading for sheer intellectual satisfaction.
Faculty selected for this year's spotlight are Leigh Raiford from the African American Studies Department, Nathan Sayre from Geography, and Richard Allen from Earth & Planetary Sciences. Each shared a few words about what drew them to their field, and offered thoughtful comments about their research, teaching, and reading interests.
To view the exhibit, drop by the Moffitt Library exhibit area on the 3rd floor, across from the Circulation Desk.
