Quantitative Methods in Clinical and Public Health Research class free this fall from HarvardX

PH207x: Health in Numbers: Quantitative Methods in Clinical and Public Health Research is an online class being offered this fall by a new enterprise called edX. This course has been adapted from the Harvard School of Public Health’s (HSPH) epidemiology and biostatistics classes. This course will cover the principles of biostatistics and epidemiology used for public health and clinical research. More details and directions on how to register are available online.

edX, a new not-for-profit enterprise founded by MIT and Harvard University, offers free online learning to students around the world. In late July, UC Berkeley joined the consortium and will be offering two online classes this fall. These “X Universities” will offer interactive education to anyone with Internet access and will be using this platform to research how technologies can be used to facilitate effective teaching. A listing of all the classes offered is available at edX.
