Starting this summer, the accounts of UC Berkeley students who have owed the Library $200 or more for at least 30 days will be blocked with the Registrar’s Office as well as with the library. Students blocked by the Registrar’s Office will not be able to obtain transcripts or become officially registered for the applicable term (you will still be able to enroll in classes).
Blocks are removed within one (1) business day after bills and fines have been paid at the Privileges Desk (Doe Library, floor 1).
Currently, fines may only be paid in person via a major credit card or a check/money order payable to “UC REGENTS”. An online payment option is under development.
