UC book-scanning in Wired magazine

Yesterday, Wired published a photo essay called The Internet Archive Keeps Book-Scanning Free. The photo essay provides an interesting view of the process used to scan public-domain books at the University of California's Northern Regional Library Facility (NRLF).

Books scanned at NRLF are added to the University of California Libraries collection on the Internet Archive. Currently, this includes over 140,000 free books from UC libraries.
