Physics Today Archive online

UC campuses now have access to the Physics Today Archive online, providing full-text access from 1985 to all but the most recent 12 months. AIP plans to digitize all issues back to the magazine's launch in 1948, eventually creating a complete archive. Find this electronic journal and more with the library's list of Electronic Journals A-Z.

Current contents remain a benefit to member subscribers only. You can access print issues from the current year in the Physics-Astronomy Library (when it reopens in LeConte, that is).

Computer downtime

GLADIS, the command-line telnet version of the UC Berkeley library catalog, will be down for maintenance from 6am to 7am on Tuesday, March 11. During this time, the Pathfinder and Melvyl catalogs will still be operating, but the following will be unavailable:

» Availability information for UCB items.
» Melvyl's Request function (for UCB patrons).
» BAKER, NRLF, and Stanford Request functions in Pathfinder.
» Interlibrary Service request through the library website.
» Library proxy server for off-campus access to electronic resources (though these should still be available through VPN).
