Science.gov updates

Science.gov is a search engine for government science information and research results. According to the website, it "provides search of more than 50 million pages of science information with just one query, and is a gateway to over 1,800 scientific Web sites and 30 deep Web databases." It allows you to search across research databases and websites from the National Agricultural Library, National Technical Information Service (NTIS), Department of Energy, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Library of Medicine, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), NASA, United States Geological Survey, and other federal agencies.

Recently, the Library of Congress joined the Science.gov Alliance, contributing information from its digital collections. Other recent improvements include the ability to search within results, set up alerts, and email search results.
